Join us at The Village at Woodside on Saturday, October 20 for a great day of family fun.  The annual Village Family Fall Fest begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m.  Fun-filled events for every member of the family, including the 4-legged ones, include art exhibitors, costume parade, pet costume contest, Women of Woodside Bake Sale, Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, inflatables, face painting, cotton candy and much more!  The event benefits Aiken SPCA who will be on site hosting pet adoptions and a supply drive.  This year’s event is especially important in light of the recent closing of a local puppy mill which resulted in Aiken SPCA receiving 50 additional dogs and puppies who need “furever” homes.

Visit www.thevillageatwoodside.com for entry forms for the pet costume contest.  Entry forms are also available at the Woodside Development office.  Artisans interested in exhibiting and selling their talent should call Kenneth Brodie at 803-645-6270 to be considered.

Come out, enjoy the festivities and help make this year’s event even better for our local homeless pets!
