Woodside Plantation is masterfully planned to seamlessly exist among the rolling hills of charming and historic Aiken, SC. Wide, lushly landscaped streets meander past diverse homes. Three golf courses enhance the landscape with Bermuda fairways as far as the eye can see. Our newest course, the award-winning Nicklaus Design at the spectacular Reserve Club, along with courses by Rees Jones and Bob Cupp, a nine-hole par three, two driving ranges and practice greens combine to enhance residents' enjoyment of the grand sport of golf.  But, don't assume there's nothing to entertain the non-golfer miles of walking/biking trials, nature preserves, lakes and more social and civic organizations than days on your calendar guarantee a rewarding and fulfilling living experience at beautiful Woodside Plantation.

Security

As you enter your own private oasis at Woodside Plantation, you'll wave to one of the professionally trained guards who will soon come to know you and your family by name.

Walking

As you gaze beyond the guard gate, you’re likely to see active homeowners enjoying a stretch of the several miles of well-maintained walking and nature trails that link the neighborhoods within Woodside Plantation with one another as well as the several nature preserves. These preserves provide the perfect opportunity to escape the cares of the day while enjoying the peace and serenity offered only by nature and its beauty.

Nature

As you enjoy the natural beauty of Woodside Plantation, keep a keen ear for the lovely sound of one of the South’s sweetest songbirds – the Eastern Bluebird.  Woodside Plantation is a designated Bluebird Sanctuary.  You’ll see scores of nest boxes spread throughout the community.

Lakes

The hundreds of acres of glass lakes only add to the beauty and serenity not to mention offering a place for the angler in you to sharpen your skills.  For the hunters among us, there are thousands of acres of hunting clubs and federally owned lands within a few minutes’ drive from the gate. 

Parks

And, don’t forget to save your day old bread for the resident ducks at the Duck Pond Park. The Reserve Park Offers a 1/4 mile addition to the many more miles of walking trials set among lush landscaping and an open grassy area perfect for picnics or group play.

World Class Golf

Four gold courses enhance the landscape with Bermuda fairways as far as the ye can see. Our Nicklaus Design golf course - recognized by Golf Digest as one of the "Top Ten Best New Private Courses" - plus courses by Rees Jones and Bob Cupp both Masters Champions, along with a nine-hole par three, two driving ranges and practice greens ad to the residents' enjoyment of the grand sport of golf.

The Hollow Creek Golf Course at Woodside Plantation, our 4th and newest course designed by golf architect, Clyde Jonston and Masters Champion, Fuzzy Zoeller now has 10 holes ready for play.

Elegant Clubhouses

Two elegant clubhouses, The Reserve Club and Woodside Plantation Country Club, are the recreation hubs of Woodside Plantation. Both feature four-star dining, meeting rooms and lively pubs.

Pool, Tennis, Croquet

The heated, Olympic-size swimming pool at The Reserve Club is a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing swim nine months out of the year. The Reserve Club also offers 6  Har-Tru tennis courts to test your backhand. The Reserve Club even offers the croquet league a regulation court on which to sport their skill and wits.

Gardening

The Community Garden Center offers the green thumbs amongst our homeowners a place to sow their talents in the fertile soil we have in this area of the country.

 

 

Community

For our residents who enjoy participating in civic and charitable projects, there are several groups within Woodside Plantation, including the Women of Woodside. These women dedicate themselves to such altruistic missions. If your charity of choice is not found within the gates, of Woodside Plantation you’ll find chapters for the major national charities as well as many local not-for-profit organizations throughout Aiken.
